LED Light Therapy

LED Light Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light to support the skin’s natural healing processes and improve overall wellbeing.

The light penetrates different layers of the skin, helping to stimulate repair, reduce inflammation and encourage healthy cell function. It can be used to treat a range of concerns, including eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, sun damage, mild to moderate acne, fine lines and wrinkles, as well as supporting wound healing, joint discomfort and mood.

How it works LED light therapy works by delivering targeted light energy that the skin absorbs at varying depths. This stimulates a natural response within the body, promoting healing and regeneration.

Blue light works on the surface of the skin and is particularly effective at targeting bacteria. This can help improve conditions such as acne, eczema and rosacea.

Red light penetrates into the living layers of the skin, supporting cell renewal and encouraging the production of collagen and elastin. This can help improve skin tone and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Near infrared light reaches the deeper tissues, helping to reduce inflammation, support healing and improve recovery. It can also assist with wound healing and reducing pigmentation.

These wavelengths can be used individually or in combination, depending on your needs. LED light therapy does not use ultraviolet light, so it is safe for the skin and does not cause damage or burning.

Treatment approach LED light therapy can be used as a standalone treatment or alongside other therapies. It works particularly well in combination with treatments such as acupuncture for stress and mood, or as an addition to facial massage and Indian head massage to enhance overall results.
