When I am not working I like to spend my time walking, cooking, reading, spending time with my family (I have three children) and going on camper van adventures!

I can honestly say that I love my work as an Osteopath and the people, challenges and experiences that it brings. I have been practicing for over 20 years, graduating from The British School of Osteopathy in 2005, followed by a Masters in Paediatrics in 2009 from the Osteopathic Centre for Children through the University of Hertfordshire.

I have gained a lot of experience over that time and treated patients from as young as premature babies to those in their nineties, primarily using structural and cranial techniques but also bringing a host of life skills to support my practice. I find it extremely rewarding to use my knowledge and experience to help people feel better. I like to structure my day so that the amount of patients I see allows me to be sure that my last patient receives as much of my care and attention as the first one does.

While some patients may come only once for a specific, one-off issue, many also return over time as they realise how effective osteopathic treatment can be. This may be for maintenance reasons or for new presentations, and I enjoy the relationships that I build with people over time; as the better I get to know them, the more individual and focused treatment becomes.

Although I enjoy treating people of all ages, my special interest is in paediatrics (from babies through to adolescents – and even pregnant mums to be) as it was the birth of my first daughter that initially led me into training as an osteopath. I have spent many years gaining and sharing my experience teaching as a clinical tutor at the renowned Osteopathic Centre for Children since 2015 where I use my enthusiasm for osteopathy to teach post-graduate students about Osteopathy in general and children’s health in particular. So, whilst passionate about treating babies and children, I also love the variety of adult patients I treat in this clinic, for a wide range of difficulties, and never tire of helping people of all ages to be pain-free and comfortable.
